I prefer Directv for television. Directv has way better customer service than Verizon and Comcast combined. I have Verizon Fios for internet and telephone because it was either that or Comcast, and I can not stand Comcast. Verizon Fios connection is better than what I had when I lived in Newark with Comcast. In Newark, my only option was Comcast or dial up for internet, and the internet with Comcast would constantly go down, and I don't seem to have that problem with Fios.

We currently have Comcast for cable, phone, and internet service but were thinking of switching. Does anyone have any opinions on Verizon FiOs? Is it better? More reliable? Any problems to speak of?
If anyone can share their experiences, we would appreciate it! Thanks! Verizon Fios is FAR SUPERIOR to comcast. You can get someone on teh phone and issues are taken care of by the customer service rep IF you have any which is doubtful. The upload speed is teh same as teh download speed which is a big deal if you do any real business online.
