Please don't feed bread to the Canadian geese or ducks on the ponds. It hurts them because they fill up on bread, don't eat what they should be eating, lacking protein, and this damages their wings. They then cannot fly. If you want to feed them, please get the proper food.
Also, I would like to know why adolescent boys are compelled to throw rocks at the geese, and at the koi in the pond? Please teach your children to respect wildlife. The ponds are protected wetlands managed by DNREC.
