I live on East Boxborough and have noticed for some time that my gutters fill with rainwater and overflow. It is like a waterfall. I had my contractor come out to give me an estimate for gutter guards thinking that would help but he said I have standing water in the gutters due to poor workmanship of the gutters and the drip edge. He said there is no pitch so the water does not flow. Also, I noticed some singles have blown off my roof after each windstorm we have had.
My neighbor had hardwood floors installed during the summer and her contractor found a lot of rotted wood and mold under the carpeting which needed to be replaced. She was told the problem was due to poor construction of the roof, drip edge and gutters.
My contractor also found that the siding around my dormers protrudes out further than the rake board allowing rain to run between the siding and the plywood which will lead to rotting wood and mildew. Again poor workman ship.
I plan on attending the meeting tonight to discuss this.

Is anyone else having problems? Our ten-year anniversary for Structural damage due to poor workman ship is up in April.
