Are other residents annoyed by Waste Management's Fuel surcharge? My bill has it itemized to be $12.61 per quarter, which = $50.44 annually. If it were just me, I'd understand, but there has to be at least 200 Ballymeade residents who use Waste Mgt. for trash pick up: meaning we in Ballymeade alone are paying over $10,000 yearly to Waste Management, on top of our usual trash pick up fees.
If anyone is interested in forming a group to negotiate a fair surcharge fee for all of Ballymeade, please e mail me, (pklosie@msn.com) and allow me to use your address in order to get a large enough number of residents to get Waste Management to consider reducing this fee.
The alternative is to use our collective buying power with another service, such as Independent Trash Pick Up, and investigate a lower price.
