Just wanted to let everyone know that there were cars broken into last night (Nov. 26th) along East & West Boxborough Drive. Please remember to lock your vehicles and do not leave anything valuable inside where it might be visible.

Is this a common problem?

I am considering buying a townhouse in the neighborhood, and I am bit concerned with this posting. Have there been other counts of vandalism or robbery in the area? Is the community doing anything to prevent this for reoccurring in the future? I appreciate your feedback.

Car Broken into last night

My car was broken into last night on Rockmeade Drive. They didn't take anything but rummaged through it looking for something.

Car Break-In's In Ballymeade

Several residents have reported car break ins

Per BC Consulting: ''Sorry to hear about the car vandalism. The only thing the board can do is let the community know (about the break ins) and suggest they lock there cars and not leave valuables inside. I was talking to Representative John Viola and he told me that GPS systems were a big item for thieves this year. Folks need to stow them out of sight.''
Please be sure to report all occurrences to the New Castle County Police Department and ask that they patrol the development to prevent further break-ins.
Please also call the police if you see any thing suspicious occuring day or night. Leaving outside lights on over night during the next few months would be a good idea also. If everyone left the outside lights on it may discourage further break-ins.
